Your privacy.
How Lazarus Labs collects, uses, and protects your information when you order research peptides from us. Written in plain English and aligned with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
We only collect what we need to take your order, dispatch it, support you, and meet our legal obligations. In practice that means:
-
Account detailsYour name, email address, phone number, and the password you set when you create an account. We use these to verify you are 18+ and to keep your orders and batch COAs together.
-
Order & shipping informationThe products you order, your delivery address, and tracking details so we can dispatch your parcel and you can follow it to your door.
-
CommunicationsMessages you send us — support requests, replies to emails, COA enquiries — so we have the context to help you properly.
-
Basic site analyticsAnonymous, aggregated usage data — pages viewed, device type, and how you found us — so we can keep the site fast and easy to use. This isn’t used to identify you personally.
We never store your full card numbers. Payment is handled securely by our payment provider. Your card details are entered directly with them and are not held on our systems.
How we use it
We use your information for clear, limited purposes — never to do anything you wouldn’t expect when buying from a research-supply store:
-
Process and dispatch your ordersTo pick, pack, and ship what you bought, and to send you order confirmations and tracking updates.
-
Provide supportTo answer your questions, resolve issues, share batch COAs, and help with reorders or tracking.
-
Meet compliance & age requirementsTo confirm you are 18+ and to satisfy our record-keeping and legal obligations for research-use-only products.
-
Send restock & marketing emails — only with your consentIf you opt in, we’ll let you know when items are back in stock and share occasional offers. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and opting out never affects your orders.
Security & retention
Your information is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, so what travels between your browser and us stays private. We restrict access to your data to the people who genuinely need it to run orders and support, and we review our safeguards regularly.
We keep your information only for as long as we need it — to fulfil and support your orders, manage reorders and your account, and meet legal and tax record-keeping obligations in Australia. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
Your account keeps it together. Having an account means your saved address, your batch COAs, and your order history live in one secure place — making reorders a click and keeping your records easy to find. It’s a benefit to you, not just a requirement.
Your rights
Under Australian privacy law you have clear rights over the information we hold about you. You can ask us at any time to:
To make any of these requests, just contact us — we’ll verify it’s you and respond within a reasonable time. If you’re ever unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can also raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
Cookies & analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores so the site works properly. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember what’s in your cart, and analytics cookies to understand — in aggregate — how the site is used so we can improve it.
Our analytics are anonymised and aggregated wherever possible; they’re about trends, not tracking individuals. You can control or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. Turning off non-essential cookies won’t stop you from placing an order — though some conveniences may work a little less smoothly.
